If you’re selling your home and it’s a seller’s market, that’s great!
But it doesn’t mean you can skimp on the details.
Here’s what you need to know.
Buyers can’t picture themselves living in a messy house, and you don’t want them to try. Make sure your home is spotless before you put it on the market!
Again, it’s tough for buyers to visualize themselves in your space when it’s tailored to you and yours. Take down family photos and kids’ art in preparation for the sale.
You want to show off your home’s space, not its contents. Take out anything that makes the house appear cluttered – even if it’s furniture.
Light it Up
Make the home look bright and cheery by opening the blinds, drapes and curtains. Add higher-wattage lightbulbs where you can, and repaint in lighter, cleaner colors if possible.
